Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions, Edo Queens, have been drawn to face holders Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies (South Africa) in the group stage of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The draw, held in Sale, Morocco on Friday, placed the Nigerian champions in Group B.
Edo Queens, led by coach Moses Aduku, will also face Tutankhamun (Egypt) and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC in their group.
This marks the first time Edo Queens will compete in the CAF Women’s Champions League, having won their maiden NWFL title and capped it off with the West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) trophy.
