Newly invited Nigerian defender, Gabriel Osho is a happy man to finally link with the Super Eagles.
Osho was part of the 23 players invited to prosecute Nigeria’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The Auxerre defender was invited to Super Eagles’ camp earlier in the year but could not honor the call up due to injury.
He has since teamed up with the rest of the players in Abidjan ahead of the encounter against Cheetahs of Benin Republic.
The former Luton centre back has however promised to always give his best and make the country proud.
“I was invited before but couldn’t come because of injury and other things but when this invitation came, everything just aligned and I could finally join the team,” Osho told the Super Eagles media.
“I will just work as hard as I can; that’s what the fans can expect from me every single game. It’s important for everyone to work hard. For me, it’s important to put hard work into everything you do
“On the front line, you see all the big names that are there; the country is full of talented players.
“It’s very competitive to get called up. It’s a great honour for me because I know there are a lot of quality players.”
