By Wale Mustapha

Nigeria and Boavista defender Bruno Onyeamaechi is set to complete his permanent transfer to Greek Super League giants Olympiacos on Monday, according to Nigeriafootball.ng.

The Super Eagles left-back arrived in Greece on Thursday and underwent a successful medical on Friday, paving the way for the move to be finalized.

Onyeamaechi is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal with Olympiacos once the transfer process is complete.

The Greek side will pay Portuguese club Boavista a transfer fee of €2.5 million for the 24-year-old defender.

Onyeamaechi initially joined Boavista on loan from CD Feirense in 2022 before the move was made permanent the following season. This season, he has been in excellent form, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 18 league appearances for Boavista.

The Super Eagles defender has also earned 11 caps since making his debut in 2023, further enhancing his reputation with both club and country.
