Taiwo Lawal scores in Unye Kaldin five-goal loss to Amed SK in Turkiye

Nigeria forward, Taiwo Lawal scored her second goal in the 2024/25 Turkiye Women’s Super League but the goal was not enough to prevent her team from a loss.

Unye Kaldin succumbed to a 3-2 loss against Amed SK in Matchday 17 of the Turkiye Women’s Super League on Saturday.

A brace from Gwladys Tatiana Ewodo in the 17th and 33rd minutes respectively have the travelers a two goal lead.

Cansu Iris reduced the deficit for the host in the 44th minute of play.

Lawal equalised for Unye Kaldin in the 58th minute but Juliet Nana scored the winner for the visitors.

The former Atasehir forward has scored two goals so far in the Turkish WSL for Unye Kaldin.

Unye Kaldin occupy the 11th position with 14 points after 17 games.

They will face Besiktas in their next league match on March 2, 2025.
