2025 President Federation Cup: Kumbi Titiloye urges Kwara United to stay focused

By Wale Mustapha

Chairman of Kwara United, Kumbi Titiloye, has called on players and technical staff of the club to remain focused and committed as they prepare for their first-ever President Federation Cup final appearance.

Kwara United, popularly known as the Harmony Boys, will face Abakaliki FC in the final of Nigeria’s oldest football competition. The date and venue for the historic clash are yet to be officially announced.

Addressing the team during a Sallah visit to his residence in Ilorin, Titiloye charged the players to give their all in pursuit of the coveted trophy and assured them of the club’s full support.

He emphasized that the club is committed to ensuring adequate logistics and welfare for the team as they aim for a continental berth.

“You must do everything possible to win and take the Cup,” he said.

“As you know, we don’t joke with your welfare. We’ll continue to provide everything needed to ensure you are in good shape for the task ahead.”

The winner of the final will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, adding further significance to the match for both sides making their debut in the competition’s final.
