NPFL: New Dawn as Shooting Stars unveil six new signings with contract details

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have officially unveiled six new players ahead of the 2025/26 season, in what the club describes as a fresh chapter under its new administration.

The new arrivals and their contract details are as follows:

Nnanchi Chidiebere Diamond – Midfielder, from Enyimba, one-year deal

Amusat Jamiu Opeyemi – Defender, from Gateway United, three-year deal

Monsoor Saleh Aliyu – Defender, from Katsina United, two-year deal

Austin Onyemaechi Tochukwu – Forward, from Enyimba, two-year deal

Ozovehe Emmanuel Adeiza – Goalkeeper, from Remo Stars, three-year deal

Awosanmi Promise Abiodun – Midfielder, from Sunshine Stars, one-year deal

The unveiling signals a new dawn for the Oluyole Warriors, particularly in the transparency of player contracts and the club’s renewed ambition heading into the new campaign.

3SC will begin their NPFL season with a home fixture against Bayelsa United in Ibadan on Sunday, August 24, before travelling to Benin City to face Bendel Insurance on Saturday, August 30.
