LSFA Signs ₦100m Exclusive Broadcast Deal With Cloud Sports Limited

The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has taken a major step toward transforming football administration in the state after officially signing an Exclusive Broadcast Rights and Production Agreement with Cloud Sports Limited.

The landmark partnership is designed to enhance the visibility, commercial value, and overall professionalism of football competitions under the LSFA, with particular focus on the Lagos FA Cup.

Under the agreement, Cloud Sports Limited will take charge of the broadcasting and production of Lagos FA Cup matches, delivering high-quality live coverage, highlights, and related football content to a broader audience across digital platforms. The deal is expected to significantly improve fan engagement while opening new revenue streams for the association.

The three-year partnership is valued at ₦100 million and represents a strategic effort to reposition the Lagos FA Cup as a commercially viable and professionally run competition. Beyond broadcasting, the initiative is expected to attract sponsors, investors, and development partners, ultimately benefiting clubs, players, and the wider football ecosystem in Lagos State.

Speaking on the development, an LSFA official noted the vast economic potential of football in the state while acknowledging existing challenges.

“Lagos State football is a trillion-naira business, but our peculiar challenges hamper growth. Our determination as custodians of the beautiful game is to continue the rollercoaster of positives we have created,” the official said.

The agreement marks another bold move by the LSFA to leverage media, technology, and strategic partnerships in driving sustainable growth, development, and global exposure for grassroots and elite football in Lagos State.
