Shooting Stars Edge Rivers United in Rescheduled NPFL Clash

Shooting Stars Sports Club secured a dramatic 2–1 victory over league leaders Rivers United F.C. in a rescheduled match in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Sodiq Ibrahim gave Shooting Stars the lead in the 34th minute, putting the hosts ahead before halftime. Rivers United responded in the second half through Wasiu Falolu, who equalised in the 69th minute to set up a tense finish.

However, Qamar Adegoke struck deep into stoppage time in the 90+2 minute to hand Shooting Stars all three points in dramatic fashion.
