Francis Uzoho has claimed the 2025/26 Cypriot First Division title with Omonia Nicosia after the team sealed a dominant 3–0 victory over Aris Limassol.
The win brings an end to Omonia’s five-year wait for league success, with their previous triumph dating back to 2021.
Although serving as the club’s second-choice goalkeeper, Uzoho played a valuable role during the campaign. The Nigerian international featured in five league matches, keeping three clean sheets while conceding just three goals.
Since arriving at Omonia in 2021, the title marks Uzoho’s first league triumph with the club.
With the domestic crown secured, Omonia Nicosia will now turn their attention to Europe, where they are set to represent Cyprus in next season’s UEFA Champions League starting from the second qualifying round.
