George Aluo Hails Improved Standard of NNL Super Four in Ikenne

Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), George Aluo, has commended the quality and organization of the 2026 NNL Super Four tournament in Ikenne, describing it as a major step forward for Nigeria’s second-tier football league.

Aluo praised the atmosphere, officiating, and facilities provided for the competition, noting that the event reflects the league’s commitment to raising standards.

“The NNL has successfully elevated the standard of the Super Four with an excellent atmosphere, quality officiating, and top-class facilities at the stadium,” he said.

Speaking further, Aluo described the venue as one of the finest football facilities in the country.

“The ambiance is excellent. This stadium is world-class — outside of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, it’s the best in the country,” Aluo stated. “The pitch is fantastic, and the teams are playing good, competitive football.”

He also applauded the referees for their performance throughout the tournament.

“The referees have done a great job, officiating in a relaxed but professional atmosphere. Everything has come together well, and I’m really impressed,” he added.
