British Actress Sarah Hadland Admits Crush on Maduka Okoye

British actress Sarah Hadland has openly admitted to having a crush on Nigeria’s senior men’s national team goalkeeper Maduka Okoye after praising the Nigerian international during a recent television appearance.

The 55-year-old actress made the revelation on Tuesday while appearing on the popular daytime programme This Morning, where she described the 26-year-old shot-stopper as “absolutely gorgeous.”

Hadland joined the growing list of admirers of the Udinese goalkeeper while discussing his popularity on the show, joking about the attention he receives from fans.

“Apparently relationships have broken up because of him,” she said during the live broadcast, drawing laughter from the hosts.

She went on to praise Okoye’s appearance, again describing him as “absolutely gorgeous” as presenters and guests playfully discussed his looks and graceful movements.

The light-hearted exchange quickly gained traction on social media, with many Nigerians reacting with amusement and pride as clips from the programme spread online.

Okoye, who plays for Udinese Calcio, has become one of Nigeria’s most recognisable footballers both on and off the pitch. Standing at 6ft 6in, the goalkeeper has attracted a large following thanks to his performances, striking appearance, and growing presence on social media.

His profile has continued to rise through appearances for both club and country, including international matches featuring global football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hadland’s comments have now brought renewed attention to the Super Eagles goalkeeper, whose name has been trending among football fans following the viral television segment.
