Olisa Ndah Set for South Africa Exit as Overseas Interest Grows

Nigerian international Olisa Ndah is set to bring his five-year spell in South Africa to an end, with growing interest from clubs abroad following the expiration of his contract with Stellenbosch FC at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

The defender is currently a free agent and has attracted attention from multiple clubs in the Premier Soccer League as well as teams outside South Africa. His representative, Mike Makaab, confirmed that several options are being explored as Ndah prepares for the next stage of his career.

Recent indications suggest the centre-back could be heading for his first move beyond South Africa since arriving in 2021.

Ndah originally joined Orlando Pirates from Nigeria Premier Football League side Akwa United after impressing during a successful trial. He quickly established himself as an important figure in the Buccaneers’ defence, earning a reputation as a reliable and composed presence at the back.

During his time with Orlando Pirates, Ndah contributed significantly to the team’s performances and became a key part of their defensive structure. However, his progress was later disrupted by a serious injury that sidelined him for several months toward the latter stages of his spell at the club.

After his recovery, he gradually worked his way back into fitness and continued his professional journey, eventually moving on to new challenges as his contract situation evolved.

With his future now open, Ndah is expected to consider both domestic interest within the Premier Soccer League and opportunities abroad as he weighs his next move.
