Wilfred Ndidi makes return to training from injury ahead of Manchester City’s visit

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is back in training for Leicester City after being absent for three games with a calf injury.
Leicester City coach, Brendan Rodgers confirmed his return in a pre-match press conference ahead of their home game against Manchester City on Saturday.
“Wilfred Ndidi has been back training with the squad. The most important thing is he’s back training in the squad and he’s looked fine with the players,” Rodgers told media.
“Availability is the important thing and thankfully he’s available. Marc Albrighton was obviously back last weekend. We’re all fine.”
Ndidi returned to England from the Super Eagles camp before the friendly game in Algeria but recovered quickly. However, Ndidi left the pitch early in Leicester’s 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Foxes are resurgent after a slow start this season but face a stern test against the Citizens. Still, Wilfred Ndidi’s return and that of Marc Albrighton excites Rogers.
“Then, when you’ve got players coming back, it gives you a better choice,” he continued. The guys have been great and it’s very important to have a bench that can affect the game. All they can do is train well and we’ll pick a team and a plan that we think can get a result.”
