Yahaya Suleiman: Nigeria U20 captain reveals reason for Kwara United move

Yahaya Ibrahim Suleiman, captain of Nigeria’s U20 national team has described Kwara United as a club with great ambitions and motivator of young footballers.
Suleiman became one of the latest to join the Harmony Boys ahead of second round of ongiong Nigeria Premier Football League season following his midseason move from Gombe United.
The midfielder missed Nigeria’s campaign at the Egypt U20 African Cup of Nations due to injury and is eager to return to the pitch after reuniting with his previous manager at Wikki Tourists coach Kabir Sulaiman Dogo.
The Flying Eagle opened up on his secret behind his decision to joining the Ilorin based outfit and aspirations with his new club.
“I have heard a lot about the club, and the first thing that interests a player about a club is playing time, which is crucial to your career, as well as welfare, which will assist you to always put in your best,” Suleiman told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“Kwara United is a big team with the potential of making it to the Super Six, as well as making it to the Continental competition this season. And its every player’s dream to play in big competitions.
“The attacking midfielder joined Kwara United FC from Gombe United FC. This is another big opportunity for me, and I promise to prove myself.”
