Victor Osimhen is my inspiration, says Maldini

Daniel Maldini, son of Paolo Maldini, has revealed that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is his inspiration.

The Nigerian striker continued to draw plaudits from world over for his performances for Napoli this season, having enjoyed a superb campaign in the Italian Serie A, scoring 21 goals in 27 games across all competitions.

And the son of legendary Italian defender Paolo Maldini, who plays for Spezia scored his second goal of the season in a 2-1 win against Inter recently, wishes to take the attributes of the Nigerian in order to become a stronger player.

“Osimhen inspires me,”  the 21-year-old told Napoli Magazine.

“He is having an incredible championship. It’s really overwhelming.”
