John Obi Mikel endorses Frank Lampard’s return as Chelsea interim boss

Former Nigerian international John Obi Mikel has expressed his delight with the reappointment of his former team mate, Frank Lampard as interim coach of his former club, Chelsea.
The Blues beckon on the former England international to take the reign of the club following the sacking of Graham Potter last weel.
Lampard who was dismissed as Chelsea manager in 2021 after winning 44 games out of 84 will be leading his former club till the end of current campaign on interim capacity.
Mikel Obi who played alongside England legend for eight seasons and won lots of laurels together reacted to the video posted by the club on Instagram to announce Lampard’s return.
He liked the video with other thousands followers of the club described Lampard’s appointment as timely and right call to help his former club regain its status in British and European football.
The Blues are still in search of a permanent manager to take over the reign of Stamford Bridge club with couple names including Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochetinno, Zinedine Zidane have been linked to the vacant position.
