Unknown Nigerian striker, Ebere Christian making waves in Uruguayan top division

Nigerian striker, Christian Ebere is a little known in Nigeria but he’s gradually becoming a cult hero in the Uruguayan topflight following his exploits with Club Plaza Colonia de Deportes.

According to SportsNews, the Nigerian youngster has been making the headlines in the South American  topflight, with seven goals in 14 games this campaign helping Deportes join the contenders for the domestic title.

Ebere who was part of the victorious U17 national team that won the FIFA U17 World Cup for Nigeria in 2015 has become a menace for defenders in the league with his big frame and pace.

He has grabbed all the headlines in Uruguay, scoring spectacular goals with one of his jaw-dropping goal listed as the goal of the month.

Ebere is strong and can make good use of his not foots in taking aims at goal and scoring with them just as he’s asset for his team for his ability to operate as a winger or a second striker.

The bullish striker is also a good sight to behold playing behind the strikers when he isn’t foraging from the wings and this versatility will come in good for the Super Eagles, someday.
