U20 FIFA World Cup: Flying Eagles hold first training in Mendoza

The Nigeria U20 men’s national side, have had their first training session in the city of Mendoza, Argentina as they gear up to face Dominican Republic in their opening group match on Sunday.
The Wafu B U20 champions edged out local Club Almirante Brown 2-1 and wrapped up their camping at Buenos Aires with a six-goal thriller in a 3-3 draw with Colombia.
Hours after arriving in Mendoza, Ladan Bosso’s side continued their final preparations at the Mendoza Technical Center, where they had their recovery session from their friendly with the South Americans.
The Flying Eagles had camped at Buenos Aires in Argentina where they had two quality friendly matches against Colombia and Argentine division two side Club Almirante Brown.
Flying Eagles will start their quest to win their first ever World Cup crown against the Caribbean nation.
After Sunday’s opener, the AFCON bronze winning side will trade tackle with Italy in their second tie on May 24 before they face off with five time champions, Brazil three days later.
