IMC promise spectacular Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six, hails finalists

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has reassured stakeholders of a memorable Super Six playoffs to determine 2022/2023 of Nigeria Premier Football League champions.

In a statement on Monday, the IMC congratulated the six teams set to battle for the diadem and continental slots.

The Nigerian topflight league organizing body confirmed that Insurance FC, Remo Stars and Enyimba FC qualified from Group A while the trio of Rivers United, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars completed the six teams from Group B.

While congratulating the six clubs, Head of Operations for the IMC, Davidson Owumi, pledged that that the governing body will give all the clubs a level playing ground at the playoffs.

“I offer you compliments on behalf of the Board of the Interim Management Committee,” Owumi wrote in a letter.

“(IMC) of the Nigeria Premier Football League and have the pleasure to congratulate your team on its qualification to participate in the 2022/2023 NPFL Championship Play-off.”

The Play-off which will hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena at the Onikan area of Lagos State, with official arrival date set for June 1 while the Draw and Technical meeting with clubs will hold on Friday, June 2.

The Play-off also dubbed the Super 6 is scheduled to hold from Saturday 3rd to Sunday 11th June, 2023.
