2023 AFCON qualifiers: Mr Macaroni lit up Super Eagles camp for Sierra Leone clash

Nigerian award-winning skit maker, Debo Adebowale known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, joined the Super Eagles players during a dinner night ahead of their AFCON qualifier clash against Sierra Leone.
The comedian was one of invited rand ambassadors by Super Eagles sponsors, the Nigerian Breweries.
Nigeria takes on its Sierra Leone counterparts this Sunday, with a chance to become the latest to seal a place in the final slated for Ivory Coast next year.
As the Super Eagles intensively trained in Lagos under the guidance of Coach Jose Peseiro, Nigerian Breweries recognized the importance of fostering a strong relationship between the players, fans, and brand ambassadors.
The dinner held at the exquisite Eko Hotels and Suites on Thursday night, lit up the camp mood and create an unforgettable evening as the gathering provided an opportunity for everyone to interact, share moments of joy, and build camaraderie before the upcoming qualifying match.
Also brand ambassadors, Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham-Adedeji, and Debo Adebowale (Mr Macaroni), added a touch of stardom and fans had the chance to ask their favourite players’ questions and share memorable moments.
The dinner which started at 9 pm after the team’s training saw Macaroni describe the moment with the players as an honour before he bowed before them.
“Let me say it is a great honour to be standing before you,” Macaroni stated.
“I must take a bow because you are all legends, all of you.”
