Fatai Osho: Former Enyimba tactician tipped to take over at Akwa United

Former Head Coach of Enyimba FC, Fatai Osho will be appointed as the new Technical Adviser of Akwa United ahead of new Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season, Nigeriafootball.ng understands.

Osho who served as Assistant Coach o Stanley Eguma at Rivers United for two seasons left his role at the end of just concluded season where the Port Harcourt side could not defend the title they won in 2022.

Akwa United could not renew contract of Coach Deji Ayeni as the club failed to make the Super Six playoffs.

Osho has been tipped to be named in the next few days as Ayeni’s successor once paperwork is completed.

Osho has handled notable clubs in Nigeria league including Remo Stars, Crown, Enyimba, Kogi United and Supreme Court.
