Earlier on Monday, Nigeria and Zimbabwe took part in the official pre-match press conference held at 11:00 am, with both head coaches and one player from each side speaking to journalists ahead of the highly anticipated clash.

According to a statement from the Super Eagles Media Team, Nigeria was represented at the press conference by Eric Chelle and goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.
