Clubs Owners hail NFF President on Elegbeleye’s appointment as NPL Boss

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL Club Owners Association have commended the Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau led Nigeria Football Federation, on the choice of Honorable Gbenga Elegbeleye as the Chairman of the newly constituted board for the Nigeria Premier League.

Chairman of the Association, Chief Okey Kpalukwu on Thursday in a congratulatory message to Hon. Elegbeleye said that the NPFL growth can only be sustained with the right people in charge.

Chief Kpalukwu said the appointment of Elegbeleye was a reward for great job while in charge of the league as head of interim committee just as he assured him of the Club Owners’ full support to make the league achieve its desired top status.

“The Club Owners Association of Nigeria is delighted with the visionary leadership exemplified so far by the NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau on the constitution of a new board for the Nigeria Premier League and the appointment of Honorable Gbenga Elegbeleye as chairman.

“This is the reward for the great job he did with the IMC last season. As club owners we are looking forward to a symbiotic relationship when the new season commences. He’s a man driven by vision and we congratulate him and his new board.”
