Ronny Deila regrets not signing Victor Boniface at Valerenga

Club Brugge manager, Ronny Deila feels disappointed not signing Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface when the opportunity came by at Spanish side, Valarenga.
The Super Eagles forward had a trial stint with Valarenga but he was overlooked despite his talent and Deila said he made a mistake letting Boniface leave the club after a trial at the Spanish club.
“I made a mistake once, but that had nothing to do with work ethic. Boniface was on trial with me at Vålerenga,” Deila told Nieuwsblad.
“I already had a similar striker, so I didn’t really care about Boniface. He do went to Bodø/Glimt afterwards. Stupid of me.”
Club Brugge are on third position in the Belgian topflight with 13 points in six game. The Belgian side will square up against Anderlecht in their next encounter in the Belgian Pro League.
