Victor Boniface scores sixth Bundesliga goal in Bayen Leverkusen’s win over Cologne

Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface increased his Bundesliga goal tally to six on Sunday as helped Bayer Leverkusen to a comfortable 3-0 win over Cologne.
The Super Eagles’ forward started the match after sitting out of midweek Europa League action for the German club.
The former Royal Union forward scored the last goal of the match in the second as he was at the right spot to finish a good pass from Jonas Hoffmann.
Hoffmann and Jeremie Frimpong had earlier put Xabi Alonso’s men in driving seat with ta first half goals that have further strengthened Leverkusen’s goal scoring streak.
The victory did not only kept Die Werkself at the top of Bundesliga table with 19 points from seven games, it has also extended their unbeaten to 10 games in all competition this season.
