Paris 2024: Ethiopia release roster for Nigeria’s Olympics qualifying doubleheader

Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifiers, Ethiopia has released their roster for the clash with Nigeria this month.

25 players have been invited for the two-legged second round of the Olympics Qualifiers, including star player from Ethiopian women’s league champions, Loza Abera headlining the roster.

She will be joined by ten of her teammates from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC (CBE FC).

Three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and eight forwards made the squad.

Ethiopia eliminated Chad in the first round of the series as nine-time African champions Nigeria drew a bye.

The first leg of the encounter will be held in Addis Ababa on October 25, 2023, while the return leg is slated for Abuja on October 31, 2023.
