Vivian Ikechukwu scores in Besiktas’ big win over Taiwo Lawal’s Atasehir Belediyespor

Nigeria forward, Vivian Ikechukwu was part of the goal scorers as Besiktas recorded a 5-0 win over Taiwo Lawal’s Atasehir Belediyespor in the Turkish top-flight women encounter on Sunday.

The first half of the encounter was a cagey affair with both sides struggling to find the back of the net.

Tanzanian forward, Opa Clement eventually broke the deadlock for the visitors three minutes into the second half.

Two minutes later, Ikechukwu doubled the lead for Besiktas with her fourth goal of the season.

Clement Tukumbuke scored her second goal of the game to make it 3-0 in the 52nd minute as Besiktas scored three goals in the space of four minutes.

Yessica Tatiana Rodriguez Angulo extended the lead to four in the 76th minute before Donjeta Halilaj completed the rout eight minutes from time.

Besiktas occupy the sixth position on the Turkish Women’s Super Lig table with 17 points after nine games.

Atasehir sits in the 16th position and bottom of the log with a point.
