“Dey play!” — Victor Boniface aims dig at his advisers

Nigeria international Victor Boniface has expressed his seriousness outside his social media antics.

Boniface, who joined Leverkusen last summer from Union Saint-Gilloise, was instrumental in the club’s historic Bundesliga title win, where they remained unbeaten throughout the season.

Despite a debut season marred with injury, the Super Eagles star was able to get 16 goals and 10 assists in 23 matches.

The 23-year-old forward is also known for his social media antics and “banger” replies to fans.

However, some of his fans are getting carried away as they drop hot takes advising him to be more serious rather than being playful with his posts.

The Bayer Leverkusen striker addressed this issue with his latest post aimed at his advisers as he stated that he takes his career more seriously than any of his advisors.

Boniface posted on his X account, “You wan advice MEME LORD? For me wey serious pass you for real life dey play.”
