Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has praised his Galatasaray teammates for their collective effort in a dominant 4-0 victory over Atalyanspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen, who netted a sensational hat-trick in Friday night’s match, helped propel his side to a commanding win that further solidified their position at the top of the table.

His goals have brought his season tally to 20, continuing his excellent form for the Istanbul giants. The win also extended Okan Buruk’s side’s lead to 10 points at the summit of the Super Lig.

Reflecting on the performance, Osimhen emphasized the team’s unity and shared purpose.

“First of all, I think we need to congratulate the team and then our fans,” Osimhen said in an interview on the club’s official website.

“We definitely did a great job from the first whistle to the last whistle.”

The 26-year-old also singled out Barış Alper Yılmaz for his outstanding contribution.

“Everyone tried to play their best. Barış played an incredible match. He made us feel very valuable in the last matches.”

The victory showcased the strength of the entire team, with Osimhen’s individual brilliance adding to an all-around dominant performance by Galatasaray.
