Nigerian striker Jerome Akor Adams has revealed that his move to Spanish La Liga club Sevilla is an opportunity to develop as a player and contribute to the club’s success.
Adams completed his transfer to the Andalusian side on Monday, joining from French Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier in a deal reportedly worth over five million pounds.
Speaking after his unveiling at Sevilla’s headquarters, Adams emphasized his determination to make a positive impact across all competitions and fight for his place in the team.
“I’m a complete striker who wants to help,” Adams said on the club’s official website.
“I’m going to give it my all and you’ll see and define me when I start playing.”
Adams, who previously represented Nigeria at youth level, was eager to highlight the collective effort within the squad, noting that he couldn’t single out any individual but was committed to supporting the team’s ambitions.
“I can’t talk about my teammates because they are giving their all. I’m here to help and to be ready for the coach,” he added.
The 23-year-old forward’s arrival at Sevilla is seen as a promising addition to the team as the club aims for continued success in both La Liga and European competitions.
With a strong desire to prove himself, Adams is expected to bring energy and determination to Sevilla’s attacking lineup.
