Nigeria vs England: Desire Oparanozie backs Super Falcons to upset Lionesses

Nigerian striker, Desire Oparanozie is holding on to the country’s qualities and special game plan as chances to get over England in the Second Round clash of FIFA Women’s World Cup slated for Brisbane on Monday.
The match at the Lang Park will see the winner progress to to the quarterfinals of the competition. Randy Waldrum’s ladies are still unbeaten, having recorded two draws and a win to finish second on five points in Group B.
Oparanozie is yet to feature at the tournament for the nine-time African champions insists that they won’t make the same mistake as China against the Lionesses, expressing confidence in their game plan for the Round of 16 tie.
“We saw what they (England) did against China, and we watched the game,” the Wuhan striker said.
“We have an idea of how they play, and we are not going to make the same mistake China made.
“We are working on how to take them on. Hopefully, it will come out in our favour,” she concluded.
The winner of the match will set up a quarterfinal clash with either Colombia or Jamaica.
