NPFL: Katsina United confirms exit of Azeez Falolu to Libyan club

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Katsina United, has confirmed the departure of their talented midfielder, Azeez Falolu, who is set to join an unnamed Libyan club.

In a statement signed by Katsina United’s chairman, Kabir Rimi, the club expressed its appreciation for Falolu’s dedication and commitment during his time with the team.

The Lybian club also wished him success as he embarks on the next phase of his football career.

“Katsina United FC’s management has wished the club’s playmaker, Azeez Falolu, well in his future football career as he leaves for Libya. The management congratulates Azeez Falolu on attaining another milestone in his career and expresses gratitude for his contributions to the team,” the statement reads.

“On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff, supporters, and sports-loving people in the state, we say goodbye and wish more success in future endeavors,” the statement continued.

Falolu had an impressive season, scoring five goals in 15 appearances for Katsina United. His departure marks a significant move in his career as he takes the next step to play abroad.
