Rasheedat Ajibade finds solace in new skill after dismal Olympic outing

Nigeria senior women’s national team captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has taken comfort in a new skill after the heartbreaking elimination from the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The 24-year-old featured in all three games as Nigeria returned to the women’s football event for the first time in 16 years since the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Randy Waldrum’s team, however suffered 1-0 losses against Brazil and Spain before succumbing to a 3-1 loss to Japan.
The Super Falcons’ captain has now discovered new talent to spend her free time on as she prepares to return to club football.
The Atletico Madrid forward was seen practising and learning how to play the piano.
She shared a video on X where she sings several popular religious songs of praise and worship, captioned.
“Need to get back to my piano class… this was me after 1 week of learning. Praise the Lord! Praise God in his Temple! Praise his strength in heaven!”
