Tolu Arokodare reveals dream to play alongside Osimhen and Lookman

By Monsurah Olatunji

Tolu Arokodare has expressed his excitement at the possibility of playing for Nigeria’s national team alongside stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

The 24-year-old striker, currently in outstanding form for his club K.R.C. Genk, has caught the attention of Super Eagles forward Osimhen, who has tipped Arokodare for greatness.

Arokodare, who has been instrumental in Genk’s success, is eager to bring his strong performances to the Super Eagles, especially for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Having recently scored two goals against Royal Antwerp, Arokodare has become the Nigerian player with the most goals (13) in the top 10 European leagues this season.

While he has yet to be contacted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the striker remains optimistic about his national team prospects.

“I can’t wait to play with Osimhen and Lookman,” Arokodare shared with Soccernet.

“The Super Eagles players seem to have a great bond, and I would love to be part of it.”
