Tuchel worried about Chelsea top four chances

Chelsea FC manager Thomas Tuchel is worried about his side’s top-four chances following their loss to Everton on Sunday.

The Blues were undone by a Richarlison solo strike at Goodison Park with Tuchel having complained about their form in the closing games of the season where they have struggled to get past teams.

“I said it many weeks ago, I never feel safe and it does not matter if we are in a race for the top one, the top two, top three, or top four, it does not matter what race we are in, it is not enough to have four points from four games.

“So we have to take care of ourselves and at the moment we don’t get the points when we play very good and deserve more, and we lose when we play okay, and this is a bad mix,” Tuchel said after the game.

After their elimination from the Champions League by Real Madrid, Chelsea has only won two of their last five games and has remaining fixtures against Wolves, Leeds, Leicester, Watford, and Arsenal in the Premier League.

They are currently placed third with 66 points; just three points above fourth-placed Arsenal who they will meet in their last game of the season.
