Justin Madugu ready to gun down Algeria in friendlies

Nigeria coach Justin Madugu is excited about having a complete squad as the Super Falcons prepare for their friendly matches against Algeria in Lagos.

With 19 players from the indigenous NWFL Premiership included in the 25-player roster, Madugu is looking forward to a productive training camp.

He mentioned that the team will hold four training sessions to assess the players’ readiness.

“I am very happy that all the invited players are here. We will be able to have four days of full training sessions and be in great shape for the first game,” Madugu stated.

He also expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for organizing the international friendlies, which will help keep the Super Falcons active ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

“We thank the Nigeria Football Federation for arranging these two games for the Super Falcons,” he added, the importance of these matches for the team’s preparations.
