Former international goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is celebrating his son Godswill’s signing with the Lille U18 team.
Enyeama, a legendary figure for the Super Eagles, enjoyed a successful seven-year stint with Lille, where he was known for his exceptional shot-saving abilities.
Alongside a strong defensive line featuring Sidibé, Kjær, Basa, and Béria, he made 143 league appearances and kept clean sheets in 11 consecutive matches, shutting out top teams like Sochaux, Lyon, Monaco, and Marseille.
In addition to his club success, Enyeama earned 101 caps for Nigeria and played a crucial role in the Super Eagles’ 2013 African Cup of Nations victory before retiring.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Godswill has showcased remarkable reflexes, as seen in a video shared online by his proud father.
Enyeama expressed his joy on social media, stating, “God is the greatest. Home sweet home. Back home in a different skin #losc #prouddaddy❤️ #younggoalie.”
