2026 World Cup Qualifier: Zimbabwe defender eye for Super Eagles scalp

Udinese defender, Jordan Zemura has expressed his determination to lead the Warriors of Zimbabwe to victory when they face Nigeria.

On Sunday afternoon, the two nations will square off at the Huye Stadium in Butare in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

In a short video posted on the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) official X, the 23-year-old Udinese star declared the determination of the Warriors.

“We are ready to play, we are ready to compete, we have the courage to face them.

“We have trained together, you can see there is a lot of quality in the team, we try to encourage ourselves.

“We know the quality Nigeria have as a team. We just have to stay strong, be on top of our game and stay with each other.”
