Bruno Onyemaechi happy for national award award despite no play time

Bruno Onyemaechi has hailed President Tinubu for his kind gesture after winning the silver medal for the West African nation at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Boavista star was an unused substitution for the Super Eagles at the just concluded continental showpiece but profited from the national gifts offered by the president.
In a reward for the team’s impressive outing, president Tinubu rewarded each member of the team with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honor.
After receiving the recognition, Onyemaechi took to social media to appreciate the gesture as it meant a lot.
Along with the photos on his X account was a message that said, “Thank you Mr president for honoring me and my teammates yesterday.
“I’m now M.O.N
all glory be to God #godisthegreatest
.”
