NWFL Premiership: Robin Apreala backs Bayelsa Queens to ease past second round foes
By Saheed Afolabi
Chairman of Bayelsa Queens, Pastor Robin Apreala has challenged the club’s players to win their remaining matches in the second stanza of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
The Prosperity Girls scooped an away point with 0-0 draw against Edo Queens in Benin City last time out and they will be home against Sunshine Queens at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Wednesday, February 21.
Apreala advised the Bayelsa Queens players to keep their heads up and never relent in their pursuit to get the maximum points on Wednesday, backing the team to give their all on the pitch.
“We know you girls are champions as you have that fighting and never say die attitude, and we are sure you will get the maximum result on Wednesday,” the club supremo told Bayelsa Queens media.
“I have complete faith in our talented squad. Bayelsa Queens have a rich history of success, and we believe they are fully capable of securing wins in the upcoming matches.
“I encourage our players to give their all on the pitch and make Bayelsa State proud.”
Bayelsa Queens are with 13 points from eight matches and seat second on the NWFL Premiership group B table.
