Everton Women Confirm Departure of Nigeria International Toni Payne

English Women’s Super League (WSL) side Everton FC have confirmed that Nigeria international Toni Payne will leave the club following the expiration of her contract at the end of the month.

The club announced that six players in total will be departing the squad as part of the summer retained list update.

Payne spent two seasons with Everton, during which she featured in 41 matches in the Women’s Super League, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.

The forward joined the Merseyside club from Spanish Liga F side Sevilla FC ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and became a regular feature in the team’s attacking setup during her stay.
