Getafe CF president Ángel Torres has confirmed that the club is not closing the door on a possible summer sale of midfielder Christantus Uche, depending on the right offer and agreement between all parties involved.
Speaking about the player’s situation, Torres explained that the timing and existing contractual obligations are currently limiting any immediate movement, while also leaving room for negotiations.
“Uche has a contract with Crystal Palace until the 30th. So we can’t do anything. He doesn’t mind coming back and the coach wants him. If there is an offer and we agree on it, we will sell him,” Ángel Torres said.
The Getafe president’s comments suggest that while Uche remains part of the club’s plans in the short term, his future is still open, with potential interest from elsewhere likely to shape any final decision before the end of the transfer window.
Crystal Palace F.C. have not publicly commented on the situation, leaving uncertainty around whether the player will return to London or remain in Spain beyond the current contract situation described by Getafe.
