Benjamin Tanimu pays tribute to Bendel Insurance coach Monday Odigie

Nigeria defender Benjamin Tanimu has praised his former coach at Insurance FC, Monday Odigie, as one of the best in the country.
Tanimu, who played under Odigie for several years before moving to Tanzanian side Ihefu FC early this year, credited Odigie for his instrumental role in Insurance’s victory in the 2023 President Federation Cup.
Describing Odigie, Tanimu said, “Coach Monday is a great man, full of wisdom, lovely to be with, a no-nonsense man, and one every player would appreciate working with.
Odigie will press you on the pitch to bring out the best in you. Behind the scenes, he’s a very calm and gentle man who cares and always looks out for his players — indeed a Father Figure.”
Tanimu also expressed his well wishes for Odigie and the team ahead of their final Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Bayelsa United at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Sunday.
