Attacking midfielder Jennifer Echegini scored her first-ever goal for French side PSG as they secured a 4-0 win against another French side, Le Havre, in a friendly match on Thursday.

A hat-trick by Romee Leuchter ensured a comprehensive win for the former French champions.

She broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute after a goalless first half.

Two more goals from Leuchter in the 79th and 81st minutes, respectively, pushed the Parisiennes to the threshold of victory.

Echegini, who joined the team from Juventus in Italy, sealed the win with her side’s fourth goal.

PSG will play two more friendly games against Westham on August 29 and Stade de Reims on September 13.

They will commence their league campaign against Montpellier on September 21, 2024.
