In-form Roosa Ariyo inspires KuPS to victory against JyPK

Roosa Ariyo continued her impressive goal scoring run in the Finnish women’s top flight as she scored again to help KuPS to a 2-1 win over JyPK last weekend.
KuPS has to come from behind to secure a hard fought win over their visitors at the Vare Arena, Kuopio.
Alina Forsten scored the opening goal for JyPK in the 50th minutes to put the visitors ahead.
The lead lasted eight minute before Ariyo retired parity for the Champions League campaigner.
Gentjana Rochi in the 74th minute set up Sanni Kouva who scored the winning goal.
Ariyo has scored five goals with an assists in six five games in the league so far.
She saw 58 minutes of action before being replaced by Rochi.
KuPS seats in the second position on the log with 37 points as 17 games.
They will next encounter PKKU in the League on August 31 before a clash with Celtic in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
