Kelechi Iheanacho, Larry Gaaga Cheer Super Eagles to Unity Cup Final Victory

Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho and Nigerian music executive Larry Gaaga showed their support for the national team as Super Eagles defeated Zimbabwe 2-0 to qualify for the Unity Cup final at The Valley Stadium in London.

Despite not being included in Eric Chelle’s squad for the tournament, Iheanacho was present at the stadium to cheer on his teammates from the stands, demonstrating his continued commitment to the Super Eagles setup.

The Celtic forward, popularly known as “Senior Man Kelz,” was seen backing the team throughout the encounter as Nigeria secured an impressive victory to advance to the final.

Music producer and recording artist Larry Gaaga, whose real name is Larry Ndianefo, also added to the atmosphere with his presence and support for Nigerian football.

Iheanacho’s absence from the Unity Cup squad generated discussion among fans, especially after the striker found improved form toward the end of the club season with Celtic.

The forward contributed important goals during the campaign and played a role in the club’s successful domestic run as they secured silverware.

Many supporters remain hopeful that Iheanacho will return fully to the Super Eagles fold after the upcoming international fixtures against Poland and Portugal.

The former Manchester City striker has continued working on his fitness and rebuilding his form, with many believing he could still have an important role to play for Nigeria in the future.
