“Now another chaos will begin!” — Osimhen warned to be wary of Icardi’s jealousy

Following Mauro Icardi’s cryptic social media post about “the silent Lion and dogs that bark”, local media have already accused the Argentine of being jealous of Nigeria star Victor Osimhen after the rousing welcome he received on arrival in Turkey.
Top Turkish journalist Selchuk Manav has now issued a warning that a fierce rivalry between Osimhen and Icardi may be on the horizon.
Icardi, the Argentine forward who played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s championship-winning season last year, reportedly feels overshadowed by the Super Eagles striker’s high-profile arrival.
Manav, who covers Turkish football for Gazzetta dello Sport, suggested that Icardi’s dissatisfaction with Osimhen’s signing is evident.
“Icardi is jealous and I am sure he is not happy with the signing of Osimhen,” Manav stated.
“For two years, the club has been a prisoner of Mauro Icardi’s whims and those of his agent, Wanda Nara. While we’re excited about Osimhen’s arrival, Icardi’s jealousy is likely to stir up further chaos.”
The situation has been exacerbated by Icardi’s recent groin injury, which led Galatasaray to swiftly secure Osimhen’s loan from Napoli.
