NPFL: Ikorodu City bullish ahead of Kwara United tie

By Wale Mustapha
Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ikorodu City is gearing up for a crucial clash against Kwara United this Sunday.
After their opening match against Kano Pillars, the Oga Boys are eager to secure positive results on the road as they seek to bounce back from their earlier disappointment.
Bright Ozebagbe’s squad is determined to make a statement following their inability to play in Matchday Two due to Enyimba’s continental commitments.
“We know that back-to-back away games at the start of the season can be overwhelming, especially for a new side like us, but we’ve embraced the challenge,” the team stated on their official website.
The players have been working tirelessly over the past two weeks, both mentally and physically, cultivating a strong belief in their ability to deliver on the pitch.
“Our preparations have been focused and intense, and we’re determined to make every moment count this weekend,” they added.
The match is set to take place at Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin at 4 PM on Sunday. Ikorodu City is eager to turn their fortunes around and secure a vital three points against the Harmony Boys.
