Yetunde Fajobi bags brace, Yemisi Samuel scores as Zamalek wins five-goal thriller against Modern

Three Nigerian players were on target as Zamalek edged Modern 3-2 in the Egypt Women’s Premier League on Friday.
Yetunde Fajobi proved to be the heroine with two goals for Zamalek on the night.
Her compatriot, Cynthia Onyedikachi also found the back of the net for Zamalek.
Hiyam Abdel Hafeez scored Modern first goal before Yemisi Samuel converted the host’s second goal.
Fajobi continued her quest to win the top goal scorer prize in the league as her brace moved her to second with 23 goals, three behind Sandrine Niyonkuru who has departed FC Masar.
Al Ahly’s Charity Reuben has scored 22 goals in third place ahead of Chinaza Agoh (ZED FC) and Alice Ogebe (FC Masar) with 21 goals.
Zamalek SC occupies the fourth position on the Egyptian Women’s Premier League log with 46 points, nine points behind leaders FC Masar.
Al Ahly (52 points) and Wadi Degla (48 points) are the other two teams ahead of Zamalek.
