Comoros Set Up Super Falcons Clash After Crushing Sudan 30-0 on Aggregate

Comoros have secured a second-round meeting with Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the qualification race for the women’s football tournament at the 2028 Olympic Games after completing a stunning demolition of Sudan.

The Islanders sealed an extraordinary 30-0 aggregate victory, following a commanding 13-0 win in the second leg of their first-round qualifier.

Having already taken firm control of the tie with a remarkable 17-0 triumph in the opening leg, Comoros continued their dominance to complete one of the most emphatic aggregate victories in the competition’s history.

The result sets up a highly anticipated second-round showdown against Nigeria’s Super Falcons, one of Africa’s most successful women’s national teams.

Nigeria will be looking to overcome the Islanders and take another step towards securing a place at the 2028 Olympic Games.

Details regarding the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the second-round fixtures are expected to be announced by the relevant football authorities in the coming weeks.
